The halfbreed walked across the scortching plains it was boiling today and she felt ever so dizzy, disowned by her kind she didn't really fit in anywhere at all. All she did now as survive, after the incident in that underground town she left on her way again. That Kamina guy, the girl and that boy. He looked so scared then and she just didn't want people to get hurt, human or beast.
She loved animals and cats loved her to pieces. As she traveled the plains she came across a tiger that was going to eat her until it saw the ears and the beginnings of a tail. It then decided to give her a lift instead and carry her part of the way until she bade it farewell and went off on her own again.
Her stomach growled and she felt the pangs of hunger before she spotted a small camp, with a robot, and a little one. Those were Kamina's and Simon's. Yet she didn't know that, she made her way timidly closer to the group and she managed to get into their food supply, she only took one thing, some bread that was all she wanted and she smiled as she heard noise and froze, the bandanna on her head and her face pale, with bags under her eyes.
She froze when someone walked in and saw her and she had nowhere to run either. Greaty all she needed and so she just did the only thing she could think of, hide in the darkest corner she could find, so what if they saw her maybe they'd leave her alone. She curled up and rocked slightly, all she had wanted was some food and in return she got this. Someone walking in on her. This world was destined to kill her.

"um..... Hello?" The timid boy walked over to the soudn he heard. This was certainly not his way of doing things. He looked to his left shoulder. Boota was sitting in a state that was less than at ease, he seemed sure someone or something was over there.
"You want me to keep going?" The pigmole nodded excitedly
Simon continued, still timidly, forward.

"um..... Hello?" She heard the voice lucky for her he didn't see her so she kept silent.
"You want me to keep going?" She froze again before she scurried behind the boxes and only popped half her head into view, her nose and eyes along with that bandanna and pink hair were shown and she looked terrified, like some small scared animal, she held up the bread she'd taken and put it back.
"I.....I'm...... I'm sorry.... I've not eaten in weeks!" She started before she started to cry and finally stood up properly. She wasn't into the crying bussiness but it sometimes helpped her out, after all people felt sorry for a skinny crying girl.

"Eeek!" The boy jumped back, the pig mole still perched, nw giving him a dirty look.
He looked puzzled and realized how much he overreacted and furthermore, how less-than-manly he must seem. He sighed hoping "Bro" hadn't heard him.
"Well if that's all you should just ask..." Boota nodded, first to the girl, then to Simon, affirming his course of action. "I've got food right here." He attempted to smile. After all another girl could be nice after all.

"Eeek!" She stopped crying almost instantly when he screamed, instead she just blinked at him, freezing and looking shocked.
"Well if that's all you should just ask..." The pigmole nodded at her and she smiled at it.
"I've got food right here." Her eyes moved from the small animal to Simon before she felt an itch under the bandanna, giving a sigh she pulled it off her head and looked away from the boy, now he saw the cat ears on her head.
"You probably want to beat the crap out of me now that you see I'm some sort of halfbred human and Beast person...... I wouldn't blame you, everyone else does, that's why I'm so hungry, Why I suck at stealing or lieing and why I'm all alone out on the plains...... I'm a half breed that no one wants, I was originally part of the beast people but they shunned me as soon as I started asking them to stop killing humans..... They just tossed me aside and now well I'm here, and you're probably going to do the same.." She itched her ears before putting the bandanna on her head. "So I'll just leave.... Humans.... I don't know whether to trust them or not..." She stated with a sigh folding her armsbefore she set off towards the door, she was going to leave, of course that was only if Simon let her.

"Huh? Cat ears?" He scratched his head. "To be honest that's the least strange thing I've seen in a while." He was very honest and his voice spoke in a tone free from any sarcasm. "Um... we don't tend to "toss" anyone here, but if you need somewhere to sit down, I think we have some space."

"To be honest that's the least strange thing I've seen in a while." She blinked and she managed to smile as her eyes watered a little.
"Um... we don't tend to "toss" anyone here, but if you need somewhere to sit down, I think we have some space." A large smile formed on her face and she practically ran at him before hugging him.
"Thankyou!!!.... You are a rare kind of human...." She stated to her he was a rare kind of human especially because he didn't hate her straight away. Letting him go she wipped her eyes.
"You know if you humans ever want to relax there's a really nice place called Fortuous I think, I went there once when I was younger they have hot springs aqnd everything...." She managed to get out before she felt a slight blush rise in her cheeks, that's right the hot springs were mixed. She'd have to go in when everyone else wasn't in there.
"Oh and I'm Nakai.... but you can call me Neko-chan."" Closing her eyes she tilted her head to one side arms behind her back before she smiled softly.

"Neko? Okay!"Simon blinked confusedly... it hadn't hit him as to why the girl was blushing. But backtracking lead him back to hotsprings and to his face turning a shade of scarlet. "um Fortuous?.... Um... Well if they're in trouble..." the image of the Kamina burst into his mind, "Well we of Team Gurren are always trying to keep people safe from attack!" This would have sounded really cool he imagined had it not been for the fact no one had mentioined attacks up until this. "um I mean not that I look for fights... well my bro kinda does and... um...." He was embarassing himself fast. "Wanna see Lagann?" He let out in an alost wisper as he cleared his head.

"um Fortuous?.... Um... Well if they're in trouble..." She laughed as memories of the place came back to her mind. Although she had been kicked out of there a while ago when they found out she was half human half beast person.
"Well we of Team Gurren are always trying to keep people safe from attack!" She grinned she had to tell him that he didn't need to help them.
"um I mean not that I look for fights... well my bro kinda does and... um...."
"It's alright, they don't really need help, I was more thinking along the lines of they could spare you half of their army, give you a place to relax for a while, refresh yourselves and well, they even have Ganmen of their own that they stole from tresspassing Beast men." She stated with a soft smile.
"Wanna see Lagann?"
"Lagann?!" Her head tilted to one side a look of curiosity on her face and that was when she heard rustling. Looking over she spotted someone else walk in and she froze before she took a leap over the boxes of food that were in there and hid behind them.

The man made his way into the food storage because someone said that Simon was in there, he heard the boy talking and then a girl. Wait a second a girl? Here? Appart from Yoko and the siblings Black? He wandered in eyes laid on Simon as he just saw the girl jump over the boxes.
"SIMON!!!! I was looking for you... And.." He made his way around the boxes staring at the girl behind them.
"Who's this pretty little thing?" He stated.
"Even the younger girls up here are in a whole different league....." He grinned patting the girl on the head before he stood up and started to make his way out noting the blush on the girls face. He stood up and made his way to the exit.
"Well I'll leave you two alone I think...." He leant over to Simon and whispered. "I think she likes you.... Don't mess it up." Then he left.

The girl listened as the man spoke and she stayed utterly silent not saying a word for some reason she wanted to run and hide again, this man was a tad scary to her.
"This is my bro Kamina!"
"Nice to meet you Scary Man Kamina..." She frowned choosing to keep her distance, this man was loud. Too loud. So loud that it scared the poor girl out of her skin and then some. Plus he said something about her being pretty. She smiled at Simon however.
"You're lucky to have a little brother like Simon, he's really nice." She stated with a wide smile on her face, it had been a while since anyone was nice to her, and now a random human she met whilst trying to steal food was being nice to her.

Simon turned red again. He avoided the girl's eyes still trying to hide his embarassment and looked up at Kamina again. "..um Bro... mind if I show her Lagann?"

"This is my bro Kamina!" Kamina gave a quick and lazy wave of his hand.
"Nice to meet you Scary Man Kamina..." Kamina made a face, he was scary? That was a first.
"You're lucky to have a little brother like Simon, he's really nice." Kamina grinned.
"Yup you're right there, if there's anyone you can relie on it's Simon." He stated, the hopefully would be a confidence boost for the boy.
"..um Bro... mind if I show her Lagann?"
"Sure go ahead, I don't mind.... Just don't mess it up alright you never know when we might need it." He stated with a grin, it was true whilst Simon was showing the girl the mecha it could possibly well end up in her stuck in there with him when something attacked.

"You don't need to show me.... Honestly...." Walking out from behind the boxes she took a few steps into the light before she felt her vision go blurry. She wobbled, not eating for a week and hardly drinking anything really got to her obviously.
"....I don't feel so good......" She stated with a half smile, before she turned to face the two and then toppled over backwards.
"S-Simon.........I.....Should go..........I'm only going...... To be a burden..... Sorry.....For.......Wasting your time..." With those words and what strength she had left she got to her feet took two steps as if to leave and collapsed with a thud.
